Thanks for writing the piece about John/Dennis & Laura. Dennis was a frind of my neighbors (Mike Henshaw) whom I met in the early 1990s shortly after moving to TLH. We were close in age. I never really got to know Dennis, but would consider him a friend; a funny friend who liked to have discussions about the heavy topics of our day – I think we three enjoyed hearing each others views of the world, etc (3 single guys, usually grilling out and drinking beer/wine). I moved away in ‘2003 and we didn’t keep in touch. Mike and I hadn’t kept in touch either. However, today (6/24) for whatever reason Mike passed on the news about Dennis. Your article filled in the details, put things in context and provided me with a sense of peace. Thank you. God Belss.
I just woke up and turn my phone on and what a great surprise!!!! Your story is amazing, it gives me the biggest smile right this minute!!!! I believe if we work hard and deal with unsatisfying situations that finally we will come out on the other side!!!
