So,
I recently was looking at all of the pictures from Ross and Anna’s wedding last year. I was having a wonderfully pleasant time re-living in my mind all the fun we had that weekend. The pictures were grouped and in chronological order and it felt like I was there all over again. I was having a great time.
and then this
I had not seen this picture before. And, suddenly, my heart was flooded once again. This picture says so much. Allow me to interpret it for you.
I was pretty much a train wreck all weekend as it was, but I could hardly hold it together once I got dressed for the ceremony. So the tears had been shooting out of my eyes for about two hours at this point. The bridesmaids and groomsmen had come in. Ross and the Pastor were in their places. See how my niece, Heather and I are facing away from the stage? We stood and were watching Anna approach her groom. Notice her groom is not looking her way. I knew that the Pastor had told Ross not to look until he said it was time. So I caught a glimpse of Anna
and then this
I turned to see Ross, just as he turned to see his Bride. The photographer snapped this shot just as he saw Anna. It was obvious he was overcome with emotion, but held it in as best he could. (can’t say the same for me. I think I was actually snorting at this point)
and then this
Anna saw her Groom. She beamed.
and then this
It is true, a picture says a thousand words.
and eventually this
and I think the tears stopped
four days later
Oh great. I’m about to have my formal observation by my administrator and I’m all mushy and teary-eyed, too. Great memories!!!!!
