Happy Mother’s Day! Becoming a mother is something that happens when you give birth/adopt. It turns you into a “noun”; you are a mother. But there is far more to being a mother than being a noun. There’s the “verb”; BEING a mother. Being a mother/verb has nothing to do with giving birth, signing papers, inheriting steps. It has everything to do with your heart. I have the best Mother/noun, because she has taught me to be a Mother/verb. To show love to the “children” that God puts in your life. Small or tall, it doesn’t matter, everyone at some point needs a mother/verb. I am thankful for my husband, who made me a mother/noun. I have two amazing sons who make my world go ’round and they daily make me proud. I am thankful for my sister, without whom we could’ve never gotten mkh where he is today. She is an awesome mother/verb. I am thankful for my daddy, who has put up with way too much estrogen in the house for 50 years! Ha! But helped shape us into women who love God. I am thankful for all my “fakekids” who let me mother them just a little, and never turn away my efforts. My heart is full with noun/verb/Mother love. Happy Mother’s Day to all my Noun Verb Mothers. You are amazing. Ladies, even if you are not a Noun, you can be the Verb. Look for the “kids” God has put in your life. Sow into their life, and I promise yours will be so much richer for it. Happy Mother’s Day!
